Section 1 of The Cinematograph Act, 1952
- (1)This Act may be called the Cinematograph Act, 1952.
- (2)Parts I, II and IV extends to the whole of India 1* * * and Part III extends to 2 [the Union territories] only.
- (3)This Act shall come into force on such date3 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint: 4* * * * * STATE AMENDMENTS Ladakh (UT).-- Section 1.---In sub-section (3), omit the proviso.
