Section 9 of The Jute Packaging Materials (Compulsory Use in Packing Commodities) Act, 1987

Whoever packs any commodity, class of commodities or any percentage thereof in any material in contravention of section 5 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to an amount equal to double the cost of the jute packaging material which should have been used in accordance with the order made under section 3.
