Section 9 of The Murshidabad Estate Administration Act, 1933
Presentation of claims.
Every such claimant shall, along with his claim, present to the Manager full particulars thereof, together with all documents on which he relies in support thereof, and the Manager may refuse to receive in evidence on the claimants behalf at the investigation of the claim any document not so presented.
Summary
- Every person making a claim must provide full details of that claim to the Manager.
- The claimant must hand over all documents they plan to use to prove their claim at the same time they present the claim.
- If a document is not presented along with the initial claim, the Manager has the power to reject it later.
- This rejection means the document cannot be used as evidence when the Manager investigates the claim.
